I'm the director of audience & analytics at Rest of World, a nonprofit newsroom that covers tech outside the West.
Before RoW, I worked at Protocol, an offshoot from Politico that covered the people, power, and politics of the tech industry. There, I headed up editorial analytics (and all things data), the audience team, and worked as a bridge between editorial, product and the business teams.
Before Protocol, I worked at the Wall Street Journal as a platform producer, where I helped craft alert strategy for pushes sent to millions of readers, edited breaking news and curated our digital front pages. I started at WSJ as an audience analyst, using sitewide and off-platform data to help a global newsroom to make coverage decisions.
Before WSJ, I worked at NBCUniversal — specifically, bravo.com — where I pitched and illustrated digital content. Most importantly, though, I edited and updated cast photos, for those who are dying to look at headshots of the RHONY cast.
In my free time I love cooking without recipes and going to New York Liberty games. In college I worked as a barista at a local coffee shop; I'm still trying to perfect an at-home latte without investing in a real espresso machine.
